Zanzi & Dashon's love story began during their sophomore year at Cape Henlopen High School in 1996. Zanzi had just moved to Delaware from Reading, PA. Dashon was assigned to show her around her new school and make her feel comfortable and welcomed. Needless to say with his charm & whit, he did that and much more. Shortly after, their teenage love began :-) During this time they were able to grow and experience many differnet things together as young adults. They were the ideal couple and everyone loved them. Once they graduated from high school together in 1998, they began to explore their new chapters in life. As time went on and path's changed, they eventually decided to go their separate ways and grew into their adult lives.

Fast forward 20 plus years.....

Zanzi was celebrating her 40th Birthday and Dashon decided to send her a Facebook message wishing her a Happy Birthday and complimenting how good 40 looked on her :-) From there, they decided to meet up for dinner and reunite as adults. During that dinner, Zanzi and Dashon fell right back into the friendship that they shared as kids and became inseparable. From that point, they decided to take the time needed to get to know each other as the ADULTS that they had become. As time passed and they grew closer, Dashon decided that it was FINALLY time to make it official and proposed to Zanzi in Atlanta, GA December 11, 2022.

We all dream of a fairy tale relationship and often wonder if they are possible. Zanzi & Dashon has been blessed with their fairy tale and couldn't be more grateful and happy. The bond they started and shared as kids will be officially sealed by marriage as adults, and that's a true fairy tale within itself. As the old saying goes, what's meant to be, will always be, no matter what :-) Cheers to Zanzi & Dashon's "Happily Ever After"! These high school sweethearts are very excited to start this exciting chapter together.
